Boot from usb option is missing from the bios
Dell G15 5525
I made a live USB with parrotOS, even though the USB is being shown in the quick boot options, it is not been shown as a boot option in the bios. When I try booting from USB through the quick boot options it says that the boot from USB option is not enabled in bios. When I turn off the secure boot and then boot, I'm getting a "config failed: the hub doesn't have any ports" error.
The live USB is working fine, as I was able to boot through the USB on my old laptop (dell precision 7510). I can't find any option in the bios to turn on the boot from USB option. I tried all the available bios versions from the Dell website, but none of them have a boot from USB option.
OS on current laptop (Dell G15 5525): windows 11
Thanks in advance

If the drive does not show up in the boot menu (F12 at powerup), the system does not see it as bootable.
Because this is a UEFI-only system (it has no legacy (CSM) mode), your boot flash drive must be UEFI-bootable. The older Precision system dates from a time where legacy boot was an option.
You'll need to check with the publisher of your linux distribution about UEFI compatibility -- though many current Linux releases are UEFI-bootable, others are not, at least as pre-built images -- you must prepare a bootable medium that's UEFI-compliant.
