Broadcom 802.11n support 5gz
my laptop currrenty have Broadcom 802.11n but it only connect to 2.4gz not supporting 5gz

You have posted in the Desktop forum. Posting in the laptop forum may bring more answers. Also what is the exact model of your system? And what is the model number of the Wifi adapter?

Version of Windows?
Does your router support 5 GHz or only 2.4 GHz?
Open Device Manager and double-click the entry for your WiFi card. Click Advanced tab and make sure Preferred Band is set to 5 GHz. And then you may have to (re)configure your network to allow PC to connect to router on 5 GHz.
