Cannot project on a second screen, Inspiron 6400

Hi

Trying to project on a second screen, appears the message "the device cannot be projected on another screen. Try to reinstall the driver or use another video card".

I already reinstalled the driver.

What else can I do to solve my problem? Is it possible to replace the video card of this computer?

Note: the laptop used to be Windows Vista
