Crashes, Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation.

This laptop keeps crashing only when I leave it for awhile. It is hooked up to power and is connected to a docking station with several peripheral devices connected. When I return from lunch, or any other 1 hr or more duration, it is very hot to the touch and is non-responsive. I can't tell if it is ON or OFF. No lights are on and display is off, but the HOT touch makes it seem as it's on.

Event Viewer shows a "The previous system shutdown at 2:06:38 PM on ‎3/‎7/‎2023 was unexpected." log. And I was touching it at 2:42p, so it should not be hot. So not sure if it was trying to restart between 2:06p and 2:42p and heating up. FYI, there are logs seconds after the supposed shutdown, i.e. 2:06:58 PM there are several TaskScheduler events, which are not At Logon Events...Task Scheduler shows At Logon events fired at 2:43p. So actually, maybe this implies it only sort of shut down at 2:06p...it created the log about the Previous Shutdown, but then didn't fully shut down, but maybe in that flux state, power management didn't turn on the fans, leading to the hot touch at 2:42p?

But the next error in Event Viewer at 2:06:38 PM is "Dump file creation failed due to error during dump creation." And of course there is no Dump file to get further details on what is causing this crashing.

Researching this error, I found potential solutions like making sure BIOS is up to date (it is), and generally making sure drivers are up to date...they are.

What else can I do to get the dump file to create so I can help find the root cause of the crashing?
