It could be computer Anti Virus software running in startup. Check Startup in Task Manager and then disable any unnecessary programs running in boot up.
On my G7, sometimes, there is a 10-second delay between when I power up and when the Dell boot logo appears, while other times, the boot logo appears instantly.
I am wondering if there is something wrong.
Note that I have no peripherals attached. Machine is fully updated. Diagnostics showed no problems.
