Dell G3 3579 CPU performance drops
Hi everyone,
I have G3 3579 bought at March, 2019. i5-8300h, 12 Gb RAM, GTX 1050ti, 128 Gb SSD. After BIOS was updated to version 1.12.00 i really can't play normally because CPU drops frequency (for the half of cores) from 3,9 to 0,8 Ghz each second. And then after sometime of playing i see that each core has 0,8 Ghz. Of course this affects the work of the GPU and now i can't use this laptop for games because even 2016 games run slowly even at medium settings. I put all available laptop settings to high perfomance (Dell power manager, standart Windows settings), updated drivers for GPU (Nvidia/Intel) but nothing helped. I have no overheating because Afterburner shows me max 80 C for CPU and max 83 C for GPU.
Can someone tell me how to fix it?

What helped me was the preinstalled "Dell Power Manager" application. "Thermal management" tab. My setting was "Optimized" and apparently that is the problem, because about every minute for several seconds it tried to decrease heating/processing power which caused terrible slowdowns in 3D games. So, my solution is to set it to "Ultra Performance" setting

I set it to "Ultra Perfomance" at once after installing this tool. No changes.
