Dell G5 5587 - Ram Upgrade
Hello guys, I need help from you, as long as I've read problems about upgrading RAM memory in Dell G5. I'm currently looking to upgrade it to at least 16GB, now I have 8GB (2x 4GB). So I need help choosing right modules, because I've read that its not compatible with XMP function that some ram modules use.

Buy the Crucial brand.

Crucial isn't worth money the want for it. Its CL19 with 2666MHz. I could get Corsairs CL15 with same frequency for less money..

CAS latency ratings are an inaccurate, and often misleading, indicator of true latency (and memory) performance.
Meaning faster speeds enable you to achieve a higher level of performance.
But $$$ is always a big factor in purchasing memory.
