Dell g5 5590 black screen problem
Hi, just to be clear i have tried searching for some solutions on the internet.
My 2 year old laptop has suddenly been acting wierd for a couple of days now. Now whenenver i boot the laptop, it will just be a black screen for around 5 minutes, then either show this Message: "keyboard initialization failed" or just shut down the laptop. When the error message appears, i have to click the diagnostics button, wait for the scan to be complete and find no problems whatsoever, shutdown and reboot one more time to finally show the dell logging in screen after 15 minutes of booting. This issue is generally annoying and can waste most of my work time. Anyone got a solution for this please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Nevergonnagiveyouup,
To receive assistance from Dell support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Click the "Get help now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. Provide to them the private Service Tag and all of your troubleshooting.

Run a hardware diagnostic test.
Running a hardware diagnostic test helps you identify potential hardware failure. Dell laptops, desktops, all-in-ones, and Windows-based tablets have an integrated diagnostic test. It is called the SupportAssist Pre Boot System Assessment or Enhanced Pre-Boot System Assessment (ePSA).
