Dell G7 7700 CPU Clock Speeds Help
I posted this on reddit in search of an answer, but no one seemed to have an answer for me. I have a 2020 model 7700 and I'm trying to figure out why is it that when I power on the laptop the cpu clock speed fluctuates, but if I restart the laptop I get a more stabilized clock speed. I have the i7-10750H 2.6ghz with the regular rtx 2070. Installed a second nvme drive (Alienware oem Samsung 970 evo 1 tb, which is primary boot drive, the Dell factory 512gb nvme drive is still installed but not really used at all (wiped clean)). Upgraded ram from the factory 16gb to 32gb Kingston Fury CL 17 Single Rank 2933mhz. I'm running the latest bios firmware and have not undervolted the laptop. Running all the factory Dell drivers; recently installed a fresh install of windows 11 (that excluded dell software) on the factory dell nvme drive to see if there were any noticeable performance differences, but I failed to notice any, so I decided to just stick with my original windows install. Turbo boost is still enabled. Once I downloaded ThrottleStop and adjusted some settings, I was able to get the cpu clock speed to stabilize around 4300mhz(~4.3ghz) but only after restarting the laptop. To clarify, I power on the the laptop for the first time for the day, and if on the sign on screen or desktop I select restart, once the laptop reboots Cpu clock speed = stabilized ~4.3ghz.
Now, my question is what is it that is occurring after rebooting the system that has the cpu clock speed stabilize? I'd love to know so I could maybe tinker with some system settings or whatever it need be, so I no longer need to reboot the device after initial start up each day and/or so I can just run hibernation mode and have the cpu clock speed remain stabilized upon reawakening; no cpu clock speed does not remain stabilized when putting it into hibernation mode even after the laptop has been rebooted.
My apologies if what I've stated above is repetitive and/or difficult to comprehend, not so great with words nor explaining things
