Dell G7 7790 CPU overheating
Hi Guys,
I received my new G7 7790 not long back and have ad consistent issues with the CPU reaching up to 100 degrees, even with the thermal profile set to 'cool'. I see a few people have had the same issue, but can't find a solution anywhere. Has anyone out there solved the same issue?

Same I've tried everything. Ultra performance, where the fans stay at 100%, does nothing to lower temps. Cool, same same. Re pasting the CPU did lower it slightly but it's still at 95+. I'm out of ideas, sure wish we could undervolt these. I dont think it will last very long at this rate.

Try to undervolt the CPU with ThrottleStop. I went from 90s down to 70s.
The green bar in the screenshot shows the CPU temperature

Same here since I update to 1.27.0 BIOS... what BIOS version do you have?
