Dell Inspiron 15 7567 Temperature Problem

Hi, I have a problem with my Dell Inspiron 15 7567.

So I'm using this laptop for almost 4 years now, I used it mostly for games and video editing. The laptop processor temperature is quite abnormal for about 2 months now, for example playing csgo with very low settings my laptop reach 100 degrees celcius, which causing my cpu to throttle to lower the cpu speed to under the base speed (I've fixed it using throttlestop but it still reach 100 degrees celcius).

I've tried repaste the cpu and gpu, I've replaced my battery (my previous battery has already broken). I found it very weird because while idle my laptop's temperature never below 50 degrees celcius. I have a suspicion if there are other components inside the laptop that makes the cpu hot. But I'm not quite sure what are those components. If there are some of you guys can help me with this problem I appreciate it so much. Thanks

Cleaning the Vents

  1. Check the vents on the computer for any accumulated dust or debris that may interfere with airflow.
  2. Turn the computer off.
  3. Unplug the AC Adapter.
  4. Remove the Battery (for instructions on how to remove the battery see the computers Service Manual).
  5. Use canned compressed air to blow the dust out of the vents.

Hi Adrian, thanks for the reply

When I replace the battery, the service store also check and cleaned the vents. But turns out my laptop still reaching 100 degrees celcius on playing games.

Hello there.
I've got the same issue. Everything is ok, but idle temp is over 50 always and in even light games (like pixel art/lowpoly without any particles and physics) temp is high as f0k. I've even loked to 2.8 GHz and did undervolting. It's hilarious HOT for NO REASON. Funs are going crazy. I repeat for other readers: everything is ok! Don't tell me about dusty fans or thermal paste. I don't need this useless info.

This problem is typical for this model. But there is NOWHERE a solution. It's kinda BIOS, soft, windows or something idk problem. And DELL told in another post that it's normal... is it a joke? Running an old games from 2004 with lowest settings on 7700hq 1050ti and getting OVERHEAT?

So, I really want to know. Did you solve that problem? Please. Somebody.
