Dell Inspiron 1501 - Caps Lock Blinking Problem
Inspiron 1501
I went to go turn on my 16 year old dell laptop when the Caps Lock started flashing.
I thought it was a problem with the ram so I cleaned it with a rubber and brush but its still occurring.
From here I dont know what to do, I cant order replacement RAM online either because of reasons.
All I could think of is trying to move the RAM into seperate ports.
I need urgent help.

HI!! Yes, I found a fix.
One of the RAM sticks is faulty and requires to be repaired. I advise checking one of the RAM sticks in 2 different slots, and the other one too. Thanks!!!

Try one module at a time in each socket until you find the bad module (which will produce the error in both sockets) or the bad socket (in which case the module(s) will work in one socket and not the other). Then replace the module if that's bad -- if the socket is bad, replace the system; it's not worth replacing the system board on something this old, since you can easily buy a much newer system for the same or less money.
