Dell inspiron 1545 Bluetooth
I had purchased my laptop Dell Inspiron 1545 in the year 2009. It had Windows Vista. The Bluetooth was working absolutely fine. Last year I have upgraded my OS to Windows 8.1. The Bluetooth icon is not showing in Device Manager. I have tried to download and install the driver from Intel site, but that didn't serve purpose either.

Install the correct Dell driver. A laptop needs Dell's customized drivers for everything.

Microsoft will begin Windows 8 and 8.1's end of life and support in January 2023. This means it will stop all support and updates to the operating system. Windows 8 and 8.1 already reached the end of Mainstream Support on January 9, 2018.

I would install the Dell WIndows 7 driver for Bluetooth again.
