Dell Power Manager Disappears After Update to v3.10.0 / What is Dell MyPower ?

I have a Dell Inspiron 5584 (support page <here>) running Win 10 Pro v21H2. Dell Power Manager v3.10.0 (rel. 04-Nov-2021) is currently the recommended version of this utility on that support page.

Has anyone every heard of an app called Dell MyPower, and is it possible that Dell Power Manager was inadvertently removed from my system when SupportAssist updated Dell Power Manager Service from v3.9.0 to v3.10.0 on 08-Nov-2021?

I received a strange pop-up message in my Win 10 notification area yesterday on 11-Jan-2022. I neglected to take a screenshot before I dismissed the notification but if I recall correctly it said something like "Dell MyPower - Ultra Performance mode has been enabled".

I couldn't find any app on my computer called "Dell MyPower", "MyPower" or "My Power" (I checked my Start menu, Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features and Settings | Apps | Apps and Features) so I assumed it was a notification from Dell Power Manager v3.10.0. However, I went to launch Dell Power Manager from my Start menu and was surprised to see that Dell Power Manager is no longer installed on my laptop. I rarely open this program but I have no recollection of uninstalling it from my system. A scan with Malwarebytes Premium does not detect any suspicious PUPs/PUAs on my system.  According to Control Panel  | Hardware and Sound | Power Options the Dell power plan that I've used since purchasing my Inspiron 5584 is still my active power plan.

I have a old screenshot of Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features captured on 26-Oct-2021 that shows Dell Power Manager v3.9.0 was installed ...

... and my SupportAssist history shows I was updated from Dell Power Manager Service from v3.9.0 to v3.10.0 on 08-Nov-2021.  I can't see any obvious errors in the installation log at C:\ProgramData\Dell\UpdateService\UpdatePackage\log for this package (dell-power-manager-service_kdhhr_win64_3.10.0_a00.txt) and as far as I can tell Dell Power Manager v3.10.0 installed successfully.

However, another old screenshot I captured back on 21-Nov-2021 shows that Dell Power Manager was removed from my system some time between 26-Oct-2021 and 21-Nov-2021 (perhaps during the update from v3.9.0 to v3.10.0 on 08-Nov-2021 ??) and as previously stated I cannot recall uninstalling Dell Power Manager from my system during that period.

Further to my original 12-Jan-2022 post, I just noticed that the release notes <here> for Dell Power Manager Service v3.10.0 (Dell-Power-Manager-Service_KDHHR_WIN64_3.10.0_A00.EXE, released 04-Nov-2021) states "Added the option in the Dell Power Manager installer to uninstall Dell Power Manager version 3.10 when MyDell version is 1.8.35, 1.9.2, or later."

Could someone please explain the logic as to why the installer for Dell Power Manager Service v3.10.0 that I ran on 08-Nov-2021 (still recommended <here> on the support page for my Inspiron 5584) would automatically  remove Dell Power Manager from my system without my consent? For instance, has the Dell Power Manager utility been discontinued? I currently have the My Dell v2.0.30.0 app installed but when I launch My Dell there's nothing to indicate that it comes with a feature called Dell MyPower or that I have any other app on my Inspiron 5584 that would replace the functionality of Dell Power Manager.

I found the May 2021 thread Dell Power Manager on reddit.com so at least I know my issue isn't an isolated case.  Unfortunately, I still don't know why this happened in the first place, or the best approach to get Dell Power Manager working again on my Inspiron 5584.
