Dell Studio 1537
Hi,
So I own a Dell Studio 1537 running Vista (or not running) and yeah it's old but I'm looking to inject some life back into it. Even tho it's old, it hasnt had a lot of use over the years.
I was wondering what I could to improve it - renew parts etc.
It's only really for my 8 year old to use and occasionally when at work.
Any ideas where to start?

Or you can install Windows 10 on the existing hard drive. That's probably the least expensive option.

I have read though I have no personal experience that you can install Windows 10 and you can continue to use it. Or Linux.
You'd need at least 4 GB of RAM.
I would definitely install a SSD. 120 GB will be fine and cost about $20-25 for a name brand.

So if I install a 120GB SSD and then upgrade to Windows 10, all will be fine?
There's nothing else that will stop it from working ?

The bit I've read on it is that it probably won't work on my machine?
Suppose I could give it a whirl.
