Dell Support Assist not uninstalling properly

Hello Dell Community members,

I recently tried to install and reinstall Dell Support Assist on my Inspiron 5755 laptop because it wasn't working properly. In the past I have had no problem installing and then reinstalling Dell Support Assist on my laptop but now when I try to reinstall the app I get a notification that says I already have the newest version so it's not uninstalling properly.....I guess I don't know what the problem is. When I go to the the control panel Dell Support Assist is no longer in the list but I keep getting this message that says "the newest version is already installed" when I try to install it again.  This is so frustrating, please help me to resolve this issue and thank you in advance for the help.
