Dell Vostro 15 3000 Problem with 4k
Hello everyone. I tried to use Dell Vostro 15 3000 i5 (11th gen) with 4k monitor. And they give me only full HD resolution. I'm not sure what i need to do. Do i need some drivers or my laptop can't use on 4k resolution?

I think you'll find these budget systems have only HDMI output -- and they're limited to FHD (1920X1080) resolution.
You'd need a more capable system to drive an external monitor at higher resolution.

I'm using ubuntu 20.04. Did you mean which system i already use or?

Yes - the Inspiron/Vostro 3000 series are extreme budget systems -- they do not support external displays at higher than FHD resolution. It's a hardware limitation - not software/operating system.
