diagnosing your computer loop
Own a dell 15-3567 laptop running win 10
The unit does a daily scheduled incremental backup image to aWD external drive.
On startup the unit goes into a “Preparing Auto repair” then into” Diagnosing Your computer “loop.
So
- On startup continued hitting “F8” It opens into a Blue Bitlocker screen where I have to enter the recovery key code
When I continue it proceeds to unlocking about 5 min
Then into blue screen for a long while about 5 min
Then diagnosing your computer again about and never stops
- On startup continued hitting “F8”Then if I entered the recovery key code and opted for skip this drive
It will continue with windows 10
Then into troubleshoot
Advanced options
Ran startup repair to no avail
Then tried command prompt
Ran sfc /scannow
After 100% verification
Message “Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation
On top is says c:\Administrator:X\windows\system32\cmd.exe
So then I tried Factory Image Restore your system to a saved image.
I have an image that was saved 1 hr prior to this crash. On a WD external drive using AOMEI free backup tool
It goes into analyzing system then a box comes up
We are unable to launch the support assist os recovery tool please utilize the Microsoft reset pc feature
I tried another win os then a screen comes up
Recovery
And the error code the is 0xc000000e then screen goes black and thing unit shuts down.
- Fn windows button to
Then system test
When I did a system hardware scan it came up with an Error code 2000-0142
Validation 71398
EPSA 4304.14
Error opening log file
I also shut the computer down and unplugged all power and devices and held the start button for 15 seconds and restated no success with this as well
I also reset this PC with saving personal files
From this device
Looks like this may work
Continue exit and continue to Microsoft win 10 the screen goes black with last screen very faint. Then it goes into auto repairing then back to the bitlocker screen
Any suggestions
