Different Graphics driver in BIOS and Windows OS
I purchased a Dell inspiron 5402/5409 today. It was supposed to have Iris XE as a graphics driver.
However when I checked in the BIOS it says the graphics driver as "INTEL UHD" whereas when I am logged on to windows, it shows the graphics driver as "Intel IRIS XE".
I updated the BIOS to the latest version. It remained the same. Dell technical support was not able to give me convincing response over phone?
Would like to know if this is a hardware or a software issue. As per my purchase I should have got Iris Xe?
the processor is i5-1135g7

There is nothing wrong. They are the "same", just using different name in the BIOS.
You actually have the Intel UHD IRIS XE.
Go to the Inspiron 5402/5409 driver page, change Category to Video. Notice it calls it, "Intel HD Graphics Driver". It does not mention IRIS XE because Intel HD is the same thing. So a 3rd way to name it.
