Display automatic dimming when dark background is there
In my new inspiron 3501 display on battery got dim when there is a dark backround shown. Its quite annoying. What to do? Also in Intel graphic command center no any option to turn it off.

Look into the bios (by pressing F2 on boot) for any option such as eco-power. It might be the culprit.
