Display scratched by keyboard

I recently released that my display was being scratched by my laptops keyboard. I haven't put my laptop under stress or done any to warrant this damage. The display is still usable but annoying to use.

I would like to know is this covered under warranty and if it isn't how much will it cost to get it repaired.
