Enable bluetooth precision 3530

Question

Hello,

I recently adquired and used dell precision 3530 laptop, it came without a bluetooh card so I changed for an Intel 9260 which has an integrated bluetooth adapter but I cannot get it to work, I check the BIOS and on the Wireless Device option bluetooth check box is disabled and it does not allow me to click on it.

Is there a way to enable this function in the bios?

Thank you for contacting us, the problem could be due to drivers, in case if you haven't tried updating the drivers, we would recommend to uninstall the complete network adapters from the Device manager remove all the entries for both the Network and Bluetooth adapters or even if there is anything listed under unknown devices.

Follow this to uninstall the full drivers

Remove Windows Drivers with Device Manager

Step 1. Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10.

Step 2. Select Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the entry. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.

Step 4. You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.

Restart the computer and install all the drivers as specified above.

Hi,

I have the same problem with DELL Precision 3530 and Bluetooth card. The Bluetooth module is installed inside but it is grayed out in the BIOS and of course it is not recognized in Windows 10. The same problem on Precision 3530 have also at least 5 people what I know. The issue lasts 1 year. I would like to ask you if you have solved this problem in the meantime. If so, please give me the advice on how to solve it. Thank you.

I have 2 dell precision 3530 and replaced cards on both of them. one shows bluetooth installed, another shows it is not. how to fix this issue?
