Extended warranty scam

I wish I looked here first. My laptop is two years old and I thought this was a reputable company. I paid £86 for an extended warranty, but the screen cracked while it wasn't in use and Dell wants £300 to replace it. Don't buy an extended warranty, their laptops have a two year lifetime so it is definitely a scam. Tech support have stopped replying to my emails even though they asked me a question and I responded.
