Faulting Application Path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Dell\UpdateService\DCF\Dell.DCF.UA.Bradbury.API.SubAgent.exe

I get this error 8 times when starting the computer and dozens of time during the day. SupportAssist gives an error when checking for updates. But works to Scan hardware, Boost performance and Optimize network. I have uninstalled SupportAssist using Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled but the problem remains.

Hi

Perhaps a firewall issue?

Network Card going to sleep?

Do you use a proxy or VPN or anything similar?

Could the updater be referencing the path you posted, and not an outgoing IP address?

It has been suggested that we uninstall SA.

@ann_droid    Yes there does seem to be a software conflict between SupportAssist and Dell Command Update. Mine is a new computer. SA ran when I first got it out of the box but the software issues started when I ran Command Update. No amount of uninstalling and reinstalling will fix it. I reset the computer and it is still an issue. I am having a remote secession with Dell tomorrow. The engineers will try and resolve it. Even a Dell technician here has suggested uninstalling SA and waiting for a new version.

@ann_droid  It has been suggested by their own technician that we wait for a new version of SA.
