fingerprint sensor not working

Question

on my dell inspiron 14plus the finger print sensor is not working basically sine i've bought the pc. it randomly works some day and then stop working. i updated everything but it is still not working.

Well you can try the following to fix the issue:

Check if Windows still detects the fingerprint reader
Reinstall the correct fingerprint driver
Reset the Windows Hello fingerprint setup
Check for firmware/BIOS updates
