G15 5521 - Maximum supported RAM
Greetings all,
I have seen a lot of conflicting reports about the maximum supported memory for this laptop. I bought it from Facebook Market with its stock 1TB SSD and 16GB of DDR5 memory. I have seen on the Crucial site that I can buy a 64GB kit, however, Dell were nice enough to silk-screen "8GB or 16GB ONLY" on the motherboard, which leads me to believe I am capped at 32GB.
I'm keen to spend the $170 for 64GB, but don't want to waste time returning it.

The specs for the 5521 are found here. And typically the specs are cryptic again. The specs state a maximum of 32 GB and then in the same chart list 32GB per slot which of course is 64GB total. If you purchase from Crucial and the RAM turns out to not be compatible, it is returnable as stated on their site. But this might help more. A user has posted on the forum here that he/she is indeed running 64GB of RAM successfully.

Thank you for your reply, I have combed over these posts myself and was hoping someone had taken the plunge so I would have the certainty before ordering!
