G3 3500: Cannot update to Bios version 1.11

Hello everyone, 

I currently have a G3 3500 with bios version 1.10.1. Dell Update keeps telling me that there is a critical bios update to version 1.11. I have downloaded it many times using Dell Update and manually from the website. The laptop restarts and nothing happens. I tried to update from bios using an rcv file. It restarts and nothing happens. I tried to update it remotely. It connects and says no update available.
