G5 5590 Doesnt recognize headphones
Ive just bought new headphones HyperX Cloud and I going somewhere with my G5 5590 and I tried plugging them in ( I use this laptop when Im not home or travelling and I have never before plugged my headphones into it) and went to youtube and opened some random video and the sound was coming out of the speakers but not from the headphones. Ive read that people have used WavesMaxAudio so I went to check it out and it said this model is not compatible. I have everything upto date everything updated so thats why Im lost why its not working. Would appreaciate any help.

I solved it by using Realtek Audio Console to turn off "Enable jack detection when device is plugged in".
Jack detection still works when it is set to Off. The audio switches between speakers and headphone.

When you say everything, that mean the volume control on the headset itself? Maybe re-install the audio driver? Have you another pair of headphones to try and or in a different machine?
