G5 keys not woking.
Hi, My laptop is just out of warranty this month and my keyboard is not working.
keys: w, s, x, CapsLock, 2 are not working.
After pressing these keys a hundred times, they start working. They will stop working if I don't use the keyboard for a few minutes.
The issue is recurring and I ended up with a fresh installation of Windows 10. However, the issue isn't resolved.
Tried updating Intel Management engine and other drivers. Tried removing everything and restarted. The issue still persists.
Tried uninstalling windows keyboard drivers and restarted. Nope. issue still exists.
How can I get this issue resolved?
Is the keyboard faulty? I never spilt anything near my machine. Not sure why this issue cropped up.
What is the cost of a new keyboard, if I had to replace mine with a new one? Are there any better quality keyboards other than those from Dell. Look like I will try avoid dell for life.

If your warranty expired you can log onto your account by model and service tag and see if you can extend your warranty. Otherwise, you'll have to replace the keyboard yourself you can find them on eBay you do have to match exactly to what you have if you expect it to work. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/partsforyourdell/index?mkwid=srEQrrCLI&pcrid=276804301341&pkw=dell%20laptop%20parts&pmt=e&pdv=c&slid=&product=&pgrid=11520685797&ptaid=kwd-51726966&VEN1=srEQrrCLI,276804301341,901pdb6671,c,,,11520685797,kwd-51726966&VEN2=e,dell%20laptop%20parts&cid=298312&lid=5697926&dgc=st&dgseg=dhs&acd=123098073120560&cid=298312&st=dell+laptop+parts&gclid=CjwKCAiA8K7uBRBBEiwACOm4dyYXHmDufuxN-GMWY824jiQS15DvDcL1W8tJ-zsy_nBxIP8bT0PauxoCaBoQAvD_BwE&lid=5697926&ptaid=kwd-51726966&VEN1=srEQrrCLI%2C276804301341%2C901pdb6671%2Cc%2C%2C%2C11520685797%2Ckwd-51726966&VEN2=e%2Cdell+laptop+parts&pgrid=11520685797&dgc=st&dgseg=dhs&acd=123098073120560&VEN3=110104823046190913
I would get it from Dell if possible otherwise eBay will probably have better prices
