Getting a new SSD drive
My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 5379 that I got about 3 years ago and I'm wondering if I can add an SSD drive(s) with at least 500 GB to give it a better performance. Right now, my laptop's C: drive has a max. capacity of 226 GB. Would anyone happen to recommend which SSD drives would be best or compatible with my laptop so I may give it better performance and more memory?

You can replace the existing drive with any 2.5" SATA SSD -- there's no space in the system for a second 2.5" drive, and no support for M.2 drives.
You'll find these from many manufacturers -- most of the top brands (Samsung, WD, Seagate, Crucial, etc.) are all just fine.
