Hard Drive - Not Installed Error, cannot reset laptop
Yesterday I was using my Dell Inspiron 5558 laptop when it froze. When I rebooted it I got an error message saying Hard Drive - Not Installed, I looked up this error and a suggestion said to take out the battery then disconnect and reconnect the Hard Drive. I did this and it seemed to do the trick, as it loaded to Windows Safe Mode. From there I tried to reset the computer as I don't have anything on the computer I needed to recover but it said There was a problem resetting your PC. I tried some of the other recovery methods and they did not work. I don't know if my hard drive is broken or I got some virus (downloading something, can't remember what it was when the error occurred. If someone could help me that would be great, I don't know if there is some Command Prompt command I could use to fix it or if i'll have to buy a new hard drive.

Does your hard drive show up in BIOS?
I suspect that your hard drive died.

It recognizes the Hard Drive in BIOS, it says "Primary Hard Drive = 1000 GB HDD WXF1EC4D47WR". I'm guessing this means my Hard Drive has not failed, but I am not certain on that.
