İnspiron Waves MaxxAudio Problem

Question

Hello. I accidently uninstall the realtek driver and re install the newest version on the internet and install the waves maxxaudio pro on the microsoft market. I can't use my headphone microphone because the pop-up menu doesn't came up. I can't select headphones there is only one option and it is internal speakers. Please help me and sorry for my language mistakes.

Hello. If you tell us the full model name of the laptop and its operating system, someone can direct you to the correct audio driver you should download from Dell.

"Full model name" means something like Inspiron 7559, not Inspiron 7000 Series.

Meanwhile look for the Advance tab in MaxxAudio for the option to turn on the popup.

hello I have a Inspiron 7567 with the same problem. just internal speakers are showing up and it doesnt detect that I plugged in a headset.

Audio plays on the headset but mic on headset is not detected and working.

These are exactly the type of forums I don't like for support, the ones where the moderators/tech don't really answer questions, they just ask you questions over your questions.

Here's a trick that might help you get your headsets working though.

Go to your device manager, go to your sound, video and game devices, choose the sound device and right click> Properties.

Choose to update driver then choose from the list, and change to the other driver. Let me know how that goes.

Hello Jim,

I have the same headphones with an Inspiron 7567. I already uninstalled and reinstalled last realtek driver version, the pop-up window never shows up unless I restart my laptop with headphones plugged in (I already selected the pop-up option opening the advanced settings) and both realtek and Waves maxxaudio are enabled in the start-up tab.

What can I do?

Mine is Dell Inspiron 5570 and I reset my windows but after when I install waves maxxaudio drivers it redirects to microsoft store but installed app doesn't detect audio driver. I want that notification tray icon back like it was before how can I do that? My curiosity is I have reset my laptop many times before but this never happened before.

The latest WavesMaxx audio is a total piece of garbage. It's too quiet and it sounds like a quacking duck. I disabled WavesMaxx and installed this program:

It's an excellent program. Since WaveMaxx sounds so quiet, this equalizer can boost the volume by 40%. Good luck!

P.S. Dell, please get rid of WaveMaxx Audio and bring back the dependable excellent Realtek HD Audio Manager!

One last thing. I think Dell trains the people who answer these forums to give a canned answer that doesn't EVER solve the problem. You have to be an **bleep** to qualify for the job.

hi jim, i have the same problem as well with my Inspiron 7566 with the operating system of windows 10 home. also there is no pop up selection in my MaxxAudioPro page, can you help me to fix it? thanks!
