Inaccessible Boot Device

Inspiron 5515

Inspiron 5515

I have 512gb ssd in my laptop, and processor is ryzen 5 5500U and I needed more space so I bought a xpg gamix s70 1 tb ssd, and installed myself, but it wasn't detecting that ssd, so I downloaded a nvme_sata_raid_windows_driver_9.3.0.00167.zip and installed it, then it asked for restart, so I permitted, and till then I'm getting Inaccessible boot device error... I tried to restore... But after the whole process it shows the same inaccessible boot device error.. Pls help me I don't want to loss my data

I am a little confused. Did you replace the 512GB SSD with the 1TB or are they both installed? Did you clean install Windows or did you clone the old drive to the new drive? If you cloned the drive did you remove the old drive and then reboot the system? Then if it boots successfully reinstall the old drive.

@JOcean I didn't replace, I kept both of them, and the. I saw that the new one was not detected, so I installed a driver from web it was amd nvme raid... And then I restarted the laptop and till then I am getting INACCESSIBLE boot device error... I tried startup repair but it didn't work...

@Kartick Samanta If you installed the new SSD as a secondary drive then you would have to go to disk management and initialize the drive and format it otherwise it will not be detected. As far as the error goes, check your BIOS settings, F2 immediately at boot, and make sure that Windows Boot Manager is first in the boot menu. It sounds like the system is trying to boot from the SSD that does not have an OS installed.

@JOcean I have checked, even the ssd was not recognized in the bios also, so I have detached the new ssd and now kept only the my previous one which contain os, but still it is showing the same error, Is there any problem with the bios??
