increasing RAM

Hello

I have an Inspiron 5559 Laptop with processor Intel core i5 6200u CPU 2.3GHz with 8000MB RAM and 15.6 inches touch and Full HD screen (Slim with 40 pins connector).

The main Windows is 10 and I have installed 3 virtual machine (windows on it. but just two of them (main Windows and one of virtual machines) work well simultaneously. When I start the second virtual machine, both virtual machines work slowly and they do not work well.

How can I do to make them well-working? Do I must replace a 16000 MB RAM instead 8000 MB RAM? What do you suggest?

I have replaced it with a SSD one. Do you think it (increasing RAM) is sufficient and it does not need to replace the processor?

If the system now has 1X8 G RAM, you can add another 8G to the other slot.
If it has 2X4, you can install 2x8.

The other worthwhile upgrade, if the OS is running from a spinning hard drive, is to replace that with a SATA SSD.

The CPU cannot be upgraded without replacing the entire system board and given the age of the system, if you need a faster CPU you'd be better off replacing the system with a new one.

The system has two memory sockets - remove the base cover to check and see what's currently installed.
