Inspiron 15 plus (7510) RAM Compatibility issues

hello,

My PC is a Inspiron 15 plus (7510),

I've tried upgrading my Dell's memory using a Kingston fury 16gb SODIMM, 1RX8 , 3200MHz, cl20, 1.2v ....

It is the same specs (except storage) as my onboard Samsung ram.

My pc has 2x DDR4 slots with same specs.

I've checked for compatibility according to the user manual and have installed by the book (literally), and still the PC won't boot with this new memory. (Black screen, the power led "blinks 2,5" - which marks INVALID MEMORY)

I've went through all troubleshooting guides and processes, i DID-

disconnect battery, mind ESD safety, try different slots and combinations. And more. With or without the original Memory stick. The computer won't boot as long as these Kingston memory chips are in it. Not even to BIOS /single boot menu.

Tried another two sticks from the same kind, just in case the first one was Electrostaticlly zapped etc. Same results.

Concluding is the assumption that this is either a compatibility /BIOS issue, and I haven't found anything about this anywhere, perhaps since this is a new model l, relatively..

Any help would be kindly appciated!

Check the cache latency value -- high performance RAM (which Fury RAM is) generally is timed too aggressively for "budget" systems that lack adjustments for RAM (your Inspiron qualifies in this category).

Here's RAM tested and guaranteed to work; Kingston may have recommendations which almost certainly do not include high performance RAM.

Thanks, I've tested the current one in my PC (came with, working), [M471A1G44BB0-CWE]
according to this it is a CL22.
Is this a significant difference ?
Should i then target a cl22 Memory ?

It is a significant difference, yes.  Most major memory manufacturers test RAM for compatibility - use the configurator for the manufacturer you choose to buy RAM.

I have the same issue, put in the exact same RAM started with 12, tried another 8 (16) in the machine (nothing fancy)and it won't identify it's there. When I first bought the machine they sold me new RAM sticks as well, which had heat sinks and a little faster speed and it wouldn't even boot up. I have an older model, and Dell won't help you without a price that you don't even know if they can help you at all, and I see no threads except this one about it
