I bought this laptop (Inspiron 3511) with my hard earned money trusting dell and their service . Believing this laptop will provide good experience as I was about to start my career but here i am 3 months later with broken hinges , exposed bezels and now forced to ask people to lend me their laptop.

Is yours in warranty ??
I got mine replaced, actually entire LCD assembly cause my model didn't have a separate hinge assembly.
Also Dell/HP/Apple, there are thousands of people complaining about the hinges, you manufacturers should come with some simple solution, i am aware that a moving component can last as much as it can, the real problem is repairs. If you can make some adjustments in assembly that it's easily user replaceable, that would resolved all these complaints.

So it has been over a month since I have placed my complain regarding the hinges issue with dell customer care and till now their have been no update not a single thing. Laptop with price above 50k and within such a short time span has become a trash. Dell is not responding and seem to ignore all the issues.
