Inspiron 3531, unknown device in device manager, driver needed
Dell i3531-1200BK, came with win8.1, running win10 home now
unknown device:
hardware IDs
ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_3401
ACPI\INT3401
*INT3401
Anyone know what driver I need?

Most of the time when I run across a problem like that, which happens often with the laptops I buy on eBay, I Google. Did you try that?

I tried google, but through a lot of trial and error I found that the "device" that ACPI\INT3401\0 refers to is:
Intel(R) Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework Processor Participant Driver
and it's happy now with the driver I installed from Dell's website
But another problem popped up with:
Intel(R) Trusted Execution Engine Interface
It doesn't like the more recent version that win10 installs (it doesn't "start")
The driver version I got from Dell's website works but it's old:
