Inspiron 5490 undervolt BIOS version

Hi as some people know intel (and subsequently dell) disabled undervolting from the BIOS. I've already tried downgrading my BIOS version in order to undervolt again but without succes. I've tried downgrading using the  executable and the recovery file with resetting by removing the battery and CMOS and disabling updates. Not one time did this work with all the available versions. So I was wondering if someone else did manage to undervolt again or knows where to find an older BIOS version since the oldest available on the dell site is version 1.8.2 from 24 june 2020.

Thanks in advance!

go to bios click restore settings and then click factory reset. Your undervolt will apply after that using throttlestop. my problem is bios resets to latest version after every shutdown and undervolt stops working so have to again reset bios to factory. i was thinking if someone know a way so bios wont change to latest setting. hope this will help

I have a UEFI BIOS and I don't have this option I'm successful in downgrading the BIOS but I think I don't have the right version available. In my BIOS there is an option to disable auto updates, "UEFI capsule firmware updates" under security.
