Inspiron 5593, backlight bleeding

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 5593 and I noticed a backlight bleeding in the bottom right corner. I already performed in a lighted room the BIST test and I can see the backlight bleeding only when the lcd goes black.

Below a picture of the laptop during normal use with a windows black background set.

I'd like to know if this is usual and if I can request a repair or replacement.

All,

That LCD passes our manufacturer specifications for overall uniformity.

If the BIST test passes then the screen is not defective per Dell. But this support page has more information. Also note the following from that page...

"Note: Please be aware that some light leakage is to be expected when viewing images with dark backgrounds in dark rooms."

From the picture you sent, it seems like it is the light of the outer object being reflected from the screen of your DELL laptop.

If you doubt that it is indeed backlighted bleeding then you should ask for a replacement.

Thanks for reply @JOcean,

How can I verify if the BIST test passes? The system auto restart after lcd blinks in multiple colors to black, white, red, blue, green.
