inspiron 5593 no post light codes
I have a Inspiron 5593 that will not post and the light codes are 2 amber 7 white.
I looked up the codes and Dell suggests it's "LCD failure" and the cure is "Flash BIOS to latest revision" but since it doesn't complete post how would I go about any update?
I currently have pulled the CMOS battery to try that.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks

Service manual linked below. If the system is in warranty, call Dell support first. If it is out of warrnaty, unplug the system, remove the base cover and disconnect the main battery from the system board. Hold the power button for 30 sec. Check the display cable along its length and disconnect and reconnect the plug from the system board (and if it isn't a touchscreen, from the back of the display panel). If that doesn't get the display recognized, next step is a new display panel.
