Inspiron 5775, cannot log into it

Hi, my brother left us his laptop. The password he wrote down is only 4 numbers so it’s probably wrong. We cannot get in. Also the main login screen is run by Redhat not Windows. The only option is to go to “another user”. I don’t see any normal Windows menus. How do I factory reset the Inspiron 5775?

Is it Windows you want to be running?  If so, use the MS Media Creation tool to prepare an installation flash drive, and connect it to the system.  Power on and press F12 a few times until a boot menu appears.  Choose the flash drive and start the Windows installation.
