I'm facing the exact same issue, I did uninstall the Intel Audio and installed Realtek and MaxxAudio however windows keeps reinstalling Intel Audio and I keep getting BSOD. Any idea what may be up?
The service does not appear to be related to either Realtek Audio or the Intel Display Audio. Instead, it seems to be related to the Intel Audio showing in the System devices of the Device Manager.
If you are getting errors, you might try turning off Cortana's ability to respond when you call it just for testing purposes.

I turned off both Cortana and disabled the Intel Audio Hardware and still getting BSODs. Not sure what else I can do.
