Is changing battery Wh harm the computer
So i bought a replacement battery for my dell computer and then when i put it in the thing charges then doesnt then does and it does that a lot so i just want to see if it was the Wh or something else
Btw it doesnt do it with the original battery

Changing Wh, theoretically shouldn't harm the device as it would only take as much as it needs.
Although, you change it means you are buying something off brand unless Dell sells the same model in 2 different capacities. Return the replacement battery. Buying third party laptop batteries are playing lottery.

What do you mean by that? Is the new battery a different size/capacity than the original?
Is the new battery a Dell battery, identical to the original?

so what i mean by this is that the original is a 40wh and the replacement is a 33wh and it isnt identical to the original

That's not a problem. A 33 Wh battery simply won't last as long as a 40 Wh battery. If they are both Dell batteries, it's fine.
