Laptop only charging upside down (Charging Problem)

Hello!

I have an Inspiron 17 7778 with a very uncommon problem.

I made the mistake to just charge my laptop with the WD15 Dock (UsbC). Because my laptop needs more power (as my bios told me after updating), I ruined my battery. I replaced the battery and also the DC-Connector.

The battery is working fine, but I have got another problem now. Often my laptop is not charging when plugging in my dc cable. It has nothing to do with the new dc cable, it also tried that. If I turn the laptop upside down it starts charging, and I can turn it around then to use it.
I opened the laptop and noticed a very very quiet notice from one of the electronic components. This is also getting a tiny little bit warm while charging.

Could this be the problem?

Thanks a lot,
Jakob

(Excuse for any grammar mistakes as I write this post for the second time because the dell forum had an error)

This seems like a huge problem in the budding stage.

I advise you don't mess with the device. The device hardware may be compromised. Before it explodes or implodes, get it to a Dell service center.

I advise you not to tamper with a laptop. A spark is more than enough to cause the device to explode.

@RuskinF

A spark is more than enough to cause it to explode? Brother, this is a laptop not hydrogen gas.
