The MAC address or service tag number will not make it possible to trace you stolen laptop. This post and this one have more information and this Dell page has more information.

Welcome to the Dell Community  @Deathstroke .

Sorry to hear about your loss.

How to Report a Dell System Lost or Stolen:

https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/19/sln265878/how-to-report-a-dell-system-lost-or-stolen?l...

If you had a Microsoft Account on it you may be able to track it and lock it???

Find and lock a "Lost/Stolen" Windows device:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/11579/microsoft-account-find-and-lock-lost-windows-device

Go to "Settings" then "Update & Security"

Then click on the "Find my Device" tab.

Under: "Take more action for a lost device on your account page"

Click on "account.microsoft.com/devices"

Then click "Show Details" for the Microsoft device you are looking for.

Then click on "Find My Device"

It shows the location and last time your Microsoft Devices were used.

This is when you can zoom down to street level.

This is for my ZBook that I am using now and my E6510 last used 7/4/19.

I could zoom-down to street "HOME" location but for privacy I will not:

Just be assured you can go down to street "HOME" location!!!

As long as it has a "Microsoft Account" set up on the device you can track it and lock it.

Best regards and good luck,

U2
