According to Crucial, it can take up to 32G (2x16). That said, if you haven't looked lately, brace yourself for the cost of memory at the current time.

The amount of memory (or ram) within your computer should be listed in System Information.
Just type System Information onto the search box, look for Installed Physical Memory.
