Mouse pad right click isn't working properly
Hi
I have a problem with my rightclick button on the mouse pad,
It works but I have to click more than one time to make the click work, sometimes three times...
and it starting to be a bit disturbing...
I wonder if it is possible to solve this problem, and how?
I fear that one day it will just not work at all...
It seems to be a hardware problem,

First thing to do is remove the base cover and check the condition of the battery, which is usually located just below the touchpad. If it has begun to swell, it should be removed and disposed of immediately.
Very often, the touchpad malfunctioning is the first sign of this.
If you need a link to the service manual, post the system model number (i.e., Inspiron 3501, 7593, etc.).

Thank you for your answer,
I will bring my laptop to a computer shop because I'm not very used with these manipulations,
I didn't know the battery can affect the mouse pad,
I hope I will be able to solve the problem.

If Dell's Touchpad driver/software is installed make sure the buttons are NOT disabled via software.
[click START button - Control Panel - Hardware and Sound - mouse]
>boot into "safe mode" - same problem?
>If the settings are fine run Dell Diagnostics - test system - custom test - pointing device - PS/2 mouse(=touchpad)

Ok,...
but it is working but not every time I click.... so I don't think it's a problem of disabled software...
What do you think?
