No Boot Device Found/No Hardware Detected
Hello,
I have been using my laptop for almost a year now and have opened it 2 days ago to find a message saying ‘No Boot Device Found’. I have never tampered with the computers settings before but have restart it to factory mode 2 weeks prior. I ran the diagnostic test and it read’ No Hard Drive Detected’. I really need help to fix this.

Unplug the system, disconnect the battery and hold the power button for 30 sec.
Remove and reinstall the drive. If it's then seen, run a full diagnostic (F12 at powerup).
If it's not seen, it will need to be replaced. Most new systems have a year's warranty -- record the error and validation code and contact Dell to have the drive replaced.

You'll need to supply the model number -- i.e., Inspiron N5110, 5535, etc.
