No RAM detected
My 8 year old 7559 died during a Windows Update.
Yes, really.
It was running fine. Then I set it to update, it restarted on command from Windows Update and died there.
It's flashing the "no RAM detected" LED code, but it has two 8GB cards that have served me for 7 and 8 years and I find it extremelly unlikely that both modules died at the same time, each being a different manufacturer and installed a year apart.
I tried swapping them around, trying each slot with each module one at a time. Same issue.
There anything I can do? I know 8 years is a lot and nothing lasts forever. But circumstances point to a simple issue and I'd like to keep this computer around, especially after it got a brand new battery.

If you haven't already, disconnect the main battery and AC adapter. Hold the power button for 30 sec. Remove and reinstall the memory.
If that doesn't get the system running again, the mainboard needs to be replaced -- unlikely worth the cost on a system this old.
