Processor Fan not spinning
I have an inspiron 15 5559 unit. My problem is, processor fan does not spin when it's in idle and even when the cpu doesn't have heavy loads such as browsing. It only spins when I try gaming and rendering. I've also diagnosed it and the lowest rpm shows "0". Why is that? Does anyone knows what happened and what I'am suppose to do or replace?

So, it is safe to say that it is normal? Cause I'm being paranoid with the zero RPM lowest in the BIOS diagnostic result.

On many systems, the fan won't spin until a temperature setpoint is reached.
You can test the operation of the fan using the Dell diagnostics (F2 at powerup).
